Denison - Funeral for Ernest Couch, 75, of 2729 S. Fannin, who died Wednesday morning in a Denison hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Bratcher Chapel, with the Rev. A.D. Campbell officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Couch was born July 3, 1912, in Hico, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Couch.  He married Margaret Stillwell Oct. 27, 1931, in Denison.  Couch was retired vice president and plant manager of the Denison Cotton Mill.  He was a Baptist.  Couch had served in the National Guard, was past president of the Denison Lions Club, chairman of the Lions Club Eye Bank, was a past city councilman and past mayor protem.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Bobby of Pottsboro, David of Tyler; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Carey Anderson, Curley O'Donnell, Clifton Ramsey, Marvin Weaver, Albert W. Brown and H.W. Denison.
