DENISON - Richard B. Irby, 78, passed
away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation for Mr. Irby will be held from 10 a.m. -noon Thursday,
March 18, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison.
Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. March 18, 2010 at Fairview
Cemetery, 1501 S.H. 91 North, Denison, with G. L. Jackson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Krueger, Tommy Krueger Jr., Justin Miskell, Larry
Durbin, Steve Durbin and Hairrel Durbin Jr. Burial will follow at Fairview
Richard was born on April 30, 1931 in Houston, the son of James
F. Irby and Cleora Sossman. On Aug. 11, 1996, he married Judith Durbin
in Denison. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea and was an operations
analyst for the U.S. Defense Department. He loved to read and work in his

N.C., Calvin Robertson of Ft. Worth, Jessie Williams of Virginia; sister
Margaret Crow of Semmes, Ala.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers James Irby
and Ronald Irby.
