POTTSBORO - Loyl J. Miller, 91, passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 at Charleton Methodist Hospital in Dallas. 
Mr. Miller was born on May 20, 1918 in Waldron, Ark., the son of David Lee Miller and Katie Harris. On Dec. 21, 1938 he married Floy Gwendolyn Miller in Danville, Ark. 
He is survived by son Billy D. Miller of Dallas; granddaughter Angela Pivato of Farmington Hills, Mich.; grandsons Marty Burditt of Dundee, Mich., Ricky D. Burditt of Westland, Mich.; great-grandsons Brad Burditt, Brian Burditt; great-granddaughter Alicia Burditt; son-in-law Frank Backnak of China, Mich.; sisters Lottie Jean Johnson of Prineville, Ore., Lorene Halford of Manteca, Calif., Lucille Cunningham of Manteca, Calif.; sister-in-law Pearl Miller of Visalia, Calif. 
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Floy and daughter Betty Sue Backnak. 
Graveside services for Mr. Miller will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro.
