Roy Pylant, Jr.

Born in Downsville, LA on Aug. 23, 1926
Departed on Apr. 4, 2009 and resided in Denison, TX.
Roy was raised on a truck farm and ran away from home at 17 to join the Air Force. He proudly served his country in Korea, and 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired from the service with honors in 1971. He was a beloved member and Ordained Deacon at Hebron Baptist Church in Bells, TX. He loved his kids, his dogs, his friends, and fishing and was a huge practical joker, never without a rubber snake in his pocket to scare all the girls.
