Richard Stewart Padilla, 52, of Richland Hills passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2009, in Fort Worth., Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst, James Clinkscales officiating. Interment will follow in Holloway Cemetery in Sherman. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home., He was born March 21, 1957, in Houma, La., the son of the late Arthur Padilla and surviving mother, Billie Stewart Padilla. Richard was an entrepreneur in fine jewelry for several years. He was a graduate of Richland Hills High School and an Eagle Scout. Richard had many interests that he enjoyed, which included motorcycles, all types of music, playing the guitar and fishing. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family, especially his nephews and his beloved dogs, Mimi and Scooter., Survivors: His mother, Billie Padilla of Richland Hills; sister, Terri Jones and husband, James, of Pantego; aunts, Yvonne Padilla of Corpus Christi and Tommie Macy and husband, Ralph, of Shreveport, La.; nephews, Zachary Marble, A.J. Padilla and Clint Padilla; one great-nephew; and several cousins.
