Sherman - Funeral services for Verna E. Blythe, 73, of Sherman, who died Saturday at a Sherman hosptial, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holloway Cemetery.
Mrs. Blythe was born June 1, 1916. in Doniphan, MO, daughter of William and Helen Fleming Fawcett. She married Homer Blythe March 30, 1940. The Blythe's owned and operated Blythe's Used Cars, Car Auto Company, and Recreational Sales. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. 
Surviving are her husband, son Stanley of Houston; two daughters, Barbara Pearson of College Station, Jerri Ann Bragg of Claremont, FL; two sisters, Vera Autrey of Bakersfield, CA and Ina Pritchett of Saledo, CA; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 tonight and other times at the residence.
