Mary Alice Watson (Clardy), age 83, was born August 30, 1926, and
passed away at Texoma Medical Center on Aug. 23, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Graveside services were held at Isom Cemetery, with arrangements by Fisher
Funeral Home.
Mary was born in Alabama to the late Ezra and Eva Blackmon. She was
one of 13 children: nine brothers (Fred, Olin, Hollis, Arnold, Wayne, Phillip)
Blackmon, all of Florida; deceased brothers, Earl, Aaron, B.J.; three sisters,
Lucille Bolling, Dorothy Smith of Georgia; one deceased sister, Ruth Fant
of Arizona.
Mary had three children, Jean Freeman of Denison, Cynthia Rose and
husband, C.J. of Hugo, Okla., Johnny Messer of Texas and also raised Charlene
Messer and Taylor Baugus. She lived in Cartwright, Okla., but spent the
last four years at Denison Manor.
Mary had five grandchildren, Lee and Rhonda Kelsey of Denison, ReJeania
Garzee of Colbert, Charlene and Keith Messer, nine great-grandchildren
and three great-greatgrandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and loved always.
