In a newly decorated and completely modern establishment, the Bratcher-Moore Funeral Home begins its 28th year of comforting and dependable service to Denison and surrounding towns. Headed by Norman Bratcher and Lloyd Moore, co-owners and directors, who have endeared themselves to all who have had need of their thoughtful atteniton, the Funeral Home stands for the highest in dignified and impressive services.

Assuming the ownership and management of the former Short-Murray funeral home in 1944, Mr. Bratcher and Mr. Moore have won the friendship and confidence of hundreds of Denisonians in their time of greatest need, and have lived up to their motto "A guiding light in times of trouble." The same policies and excellent service exemplified by Verne Murray and the late Mr. Short, who operated the funeral home for many years, has been continued by its present owners.

Mr. Murray, head of the Gate City Mutual Insurance company, maintains his headquarters in the building.
