Obituary of Minerva Coker, Dallas Morning News, 31 Dec 1927
Sherman, Texas, Dec 30- Mrs. J.C. Coker, 70, died Thursday night
at her home here. Funeral services will be held from the Luella Church,
southeast of the city, Sunday afternoon, conducted by Dr. T.L. Holcomb
, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Luella Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. John Bookout
of Hartley, D.C. Coker and Mrs. G.F. Brannum of Luella. Bob Coker, Mrs.
V.H. Smith and Mrs. W.W. Clarkston of Sherman.
