WHITESBORO - Funeral services for Perry Lynn Huff, 49, will
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Interment will follow in Macomb Cemetery. Services are under the direction
of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be on Friday from
6 -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Perry passed away on March 17, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center
in Sherman, Texas.
Perry was born on Dec. 4, 1960 in Dallas to Dr. Gene and Gwen (Anthony)
Huff. He graduated from Richardson High School in 1979 and married Christina
Hancock on Sept. 27, 1981 in Richardson. Perry received his jewelry technical
degree. He and his brother were partners in Huff's Creative Jewelry of
Whitesboro for 15 years.
Later, Perry received his nursing degree from Grayson County College
and worked as an RN for TMC Behavioral Health Center in Sherman. He enjoyed
Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, fishing, hunting, Nascar racing and watching
MMA fights with his brother. His all time favorite pasttime was attending
any classic rock concerts and was an avid Cowboys fan. Perry's greatest
joy was spending time with his family whom he deeply loved. He was a member
of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro and Narcotics Anonymous.
Survivors include his wife, Chris Huff of Whitesboro; a daughter,
Micah Huff and fiance Josh Kniss of Whitesboro; a son, Jordan Huff of Whitesboro;
parents, Dr. Gene and Gwen Huff of Whitesboro; brother, Bo Huff of Whitesboro
and sister, Kathy Park and husband Brad of Denison; a niece, Ashley Gibson
and husband, Shane; two nephews, Aaron Park and Curtis Hancock and brother-in-law,
Curt Hancock and wife, Sherri.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Garfield and
Iva Huff and maternal grandparents, Perry and Celes Anthony.
