POTTSBORO - Viola Dutton, 94, went home to be with the Lord
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at the Homestead of Denison.
Mrs. Dutton was born May 16, 1915 in Pottsboro, the daughter of
Joe Thomas and Ida Lee (McAlestier) Fulenchek. Viola was raised on her
family farm west of Pottsboro in the community of Willow Spring. Viola
married the love of her life, Ed Dutton in Madill, Okla.
In the early years, she worked for the Texas Nursery and cooked
for the Thrasher crew. She lived in the Locust Community all of her life,
where she was a rancher. Viola loved to cook and never turned anyone away
for a meal. She loved the Lord and was a member of Pottsboro Church of
Christ. Viola was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Dutton is survived by her loving family: daughters, Ruby Teel
and husband Don of Pottsboro, Joyce Dutton of Pottsboro, and, Diana Beth
Baker of Sadler; sons, Robert Dutton and wife Janie of Pottsboro, Stanley
Dutton of Gordonville, and Larry Dutton of Pottsboro; grandchildren, Angela
Watson, Tammy Daniels, Bucky Teel, Gwen Smith, Robbie Barlow, Joshua Baker
and Deni Jo Baker; great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild; sister,
Josie Elmore of Denison; brother, Calvin Fulenchek and wife, Mildred of
Pottsboro and sister-in-law, Cordelia Fulenchek. Viola was preceded in
death by her parents, husband, sons, Lonnie Dutton, Don Dutton and Bob
Dutton and grandson, Anthony Dutton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at
Pottsboro Church of Christ with Minister Greg Knight officiating. Interment
will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from
6 -8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at Fisher Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Donald "Bucky" Ray Teel Jr., Joshua Baker, Brandon
Wagner, Matt Wagner, Cody Daniels and Carl Don Daniels. Honorary pallbearer
is Cory Conrad.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pottsboro Church of Christ
with Minister Greg Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor
Cemetery.

seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
