Beulah Mae McDaniel

Beulah Mae McDaniel, age 92 of Telephone, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2009 at her residence.  She was born February 10, 1917 in Westminster, Texas to Albert Griffin and Prudia Spencer Griffin.  She married James H. McDaniel November 16, 1961 in Lewisville, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband on January 8, 1992; her son, James R. Cook on January 2, 1993; and her brother, J.D. Griffin on February 10, 1993.  She is survived by her daughter, Carol Bullock and husband Sam of Telephone, Texas; two step-daughters, Lois Dickerson of Burlington, North Carolina, Glynda Shaw and husband Gary of Sacramento, California; one step-son, Howard McDaniel and wife Carol of McLeansville, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one niece, Judy Youngblood of Arlington, Texas; and a host of friends and neighbors. 
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2009 at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas with Gene Owen officiating.  Burial will follow at Pilot Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Joe Thomas, Wayne Wampler, Cordell Foreman, Max Hutebings, Gilbert Gossett, and Kyle Payne.  The family will receive visitors on Thursday evening from 6-7 pm.
