POTTSBORO - Kenneth "K.K." Robinson, 75-year-old Pottsboro resident,
passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at Pilot
Grove Cemetery with Rev. Billy Vier officiating.
Mr. Robinson was born on April 16, 1934 in Chambersville, the son
of Winkett and Lula Colson Robinson. He married Jan Taylor on March 27,
1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He retired from Texas Instruments after 37 years of service and
was also a manager of the Texins Texoma Club at Lake Texoma for 15 years.
He was a gifted mechanic and a dirt track enthusiast. He built and raced
his own race cars and won many trophies. He was also an avid fisherman
and he loved Lake Texoma.
K.K. is survived by his wife, Jan Robinson of Pottsboro; son, Kenny
Robinson of McKinney; daughter, Kathy Robinson of McKinney; stepdaughter,
Lisa Drumm and her husband, David Noel of Sherman; grandchildren, Kim Hughes
and her husband, Mike of Princeton, Kenny "Bubba" Robinson and his wife,
Roma of Forney, Texas, Kaci Robinson of McKinney, Rusty Brashers of McKinney;
great-grandchildren, Kyrstin Robinson, Keegan Robinson and Cameron Adams,
all of McKinney; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and 10 brothers.
Mr. Robinson will lie in state at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel
from 1 -5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. -noon Saturday.
