Obituary of General Robertson Pilcher
G.R. Pilcher Rites Held Here Sunday (of course, Mama cut off the name of the paper and date!)
General Roberson Pilcher, 65, died Friday, March 25, at 1:00 a.m. at his home in the County Line community,  His death followied a two months illness.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday Afternoon at three o'clock at the Collinsville Methodist Church with the pastor Rev. R.L. Cates officiating.  Burial was in the Collinsville cemetery under direction of Richards-Beck Funeral Home.
A native of Collinsville, Mr. Pilcher was born Feb. 7, 1882, a son of Louis and Nannie Ingle Pilcher.  He was married in July 1900 to Miss Jessie Brown.
Mr. Pilcher had been a successful farmer all of his life.
Survivors include his mother; his widow; four sons, Louis Pilcher of Gainesville, Sgt. David Pilcher of Lowry Field, Denver, Colo., Luther Pilcher of Collinsville and Ralph Pilcher of Wilson, Okla.; six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Baker, Mrs. Lignum Tinsley, and Mrs. Julia Sluder of Gainesville; Mrs. Leota Ballinger of Sulphur, Okla., Mrs. Fern Thomas of Williamsport, Pa., and Mrs. Darlene Nall of Dallas; 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and four sisters also survive.  These are Jim, Lee, and Owen Pildher of Collinsville and Jip Pilcher of Henrietta, Okla.; Mrs. Grace Hood of Duncan, Okla., Mrs. Nora Sanders of Oklahoma, Mrs. Doll Henderson and Mrs. Hazel Coulston of Collinsville
