Sherman- Verda Rea Burnett on July 23 went to be with her heavenly father, her beloved husband Raymond and her beloved son Edwin, in heaven. 

Born November 11, 1919 and after celebrating her 90th birthday she was ready to meet her Maker. She said she had eaten so much food in her last days in hospitals, she hoped she could fit through the Pearly Gates. 

She is survived by her brother David Westbrook and his wife Loretta, of Garland, her daughters Shirley Green of Denison and Betty McKenna of Sherman. Grandchildren Tim McKenna and Ryan McKenna of California, Elizabeth Standerfer of Plano and Richard Green of Weston. Great Grandchildren Mikaela, Lily, Philip and Jacob Green, Mason and Marcus Standerfer, Jacob, Maddie and Grace McKenna. 

Special thanks to Sue Listvan for her loving care and help in the past year and Dr. Robert Watson of Texoma Medical Center for his compassion and care in the final hours. 

Services will be held at Waldo Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday, July 26. 

Pallbearers will be Richard Green, Jacob Green, Tim McKenna, Jacob McKenna, Ryan McKenna, and Barry Teems.
