COLLINSVILLE ? Muriel M. Brewer, 77, of Collinsville, a retired registered nurse, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 9, 1929, in McCurtain County, Okla, to Thomas Guthrie and Pearl Ruth Crawford Markham.  On July 1, 1944, she married Edward Loy Brewer in Lubbock.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Pilot Point.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Huff Funeral Chapel in Pilot Point.  The Rev. Steve Newman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Tioga Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Huff Funeral Chapel in Pilot Point.
Survivors include her husband, of Collinsville; two sons, Ronnie Brewer of Farmers Branch and Ray Brewer of Collinsville; one daughter, Rita York of Gilmer; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
