VAN ALSTYNE -- Graveside services for James William Adams, 64-year-old Van Alstyne farmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Van Alstyne Cemetery.  He died Wednesday at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Van Alstyne.
The Rev. Jim Poole, pastor of Elmont Baptist Church, will officiate.
Flesher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Adams was born in Van Alstyne, the son of William Lou Adams and Neva Hamons Adams.
He was a member of Elmont Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sisters, Juanita Forehand of Howe, Jean Beagle of St. Johns, Mich., Pauline Bradbury of Orange, Mass. and Reba McGee of Denison; and brothers, John Adams and Sam Adams, both of Bishop, Calif.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and other times at Juanita Forehand's home, 926 Western Hills, in Howe.
