Leroy Turberville

This morning at 4:15 o'clock, Leroy Turberville, aged 16 years, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Turberville in this city after a week's illness from pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church Friday, December 24th at 1 o'clock, and interment of the body will take place in Van Alstyne cemetery. Leroy was a splendid young boy, a student in the Van Alstyne public schools, and about a week ago became afflicted with pneumonia, and every effort made to restore him back to health, but of no avail. The parents have the sincere sympathy of all our people in the loss of their son, and coming just at Christmas time makes it more sad for the once happy household.
