Funeral services for James Lee Turberville, 73, who died at his home in Van Alstyne Friday, at 3:15 a.m. are to be held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist Church of which he was a member. Rev. C.R. Whilhite Pastor, and Rev. Frank Johnston officiating. Burial in Van Alstyne cemetery by Fox-Fanning Funeral Home.
Mr. Turbeville born Aug. 3 1864 in Washington County Ark, came to Texas when 21 years old locating in Clarksville. Married to Miss Colerna Melton July 4 1888. The moved to Van Alstyne 1908. 
He had been a member of the W.O.W. 31 years. Survived by wife,; five daughters, Mrs.J.A. Bell, Mrs.W.W. Higginbotham, Mrs. Bruce Hestand, and Mrs. Jim Young of Van Alstyne, and Mrs. Less Clack of Dallas, two sons, H.P. Turbeville of Harlingen and B.M. Turbeville of Watson Ark, one sister Mrs. Joe Gaylon of Camden Ark, 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
