Van Alstyne ? Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Hulsey, 74, who died
Aug. 11, 2002, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the Flesher Funeral Home
Chapel in Van Alstyne.
The Rev. Don Griffith and the Rev. Richard Russell officiated with
burial in the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Pat Patterson, Jessie Joe Savage, Zack Herring,
Chuck Slack, Robert Hynds, Dude Crook, Benny Edwards, Billy Ray Edwards,
Charles Hix and Austin Rogers.
Arrangements were under the care of Flesher Funeral Home of Van
Alstyne.
Mr. Hulsey was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Van Alstyne. His mother was
Odessa McLain. On Aug. 6, 1954, he married Charlesene Martin in Van Alstyne.
He was a member of the First Christian Church. After retiring from
Anderson-Clayton, he was a sexton of the Van Alstyne Cemetery for many
years.
Surviving are his wife, Charlesene Hulsey of Van Alstyne; daughter,
Pam Rogers and husband David of Van Alstyne, and one grandchild, Austin
Rogers of Van Alstyne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to
