STINNETT
Services were held Sunday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Van Alstyne
Church of Christ for Cleo Stinnett, who died Thursday April 20, in a Sherman
hospital.
Services were conducted by Welby Jackson and burial was in the Van
Alstyne Cemetery under the direction of Grayson Funeral Home.
Mr. Stinnett was born Oct 23, 1907, in Collin County, the son of
Alvin and Della StInnett.
In 1935, he married Pearl Etta Vester of Van Alstyne, who preceded
him in death April 15.
Survivors include his father and sep mother, Mrs. Florine Stinnett
of Van Alstyne; three brothers, Beverly Stinnett of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Ray Stinnett of Sherman and P.M.Stinnett also of Van Alstyne; one sisters,
Mrs. Carrie Lue Franklin of Richmond, Calif., two stepchildren, Mrs. Euna
Bell Geeterm of Louisville, Ky., and Early J. Rhyne of Dallas; eight grandchildren
and several aunts and uncles.

MRS. PEARL E. STINNETT
Van Alstyne - Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
Church of christ in Van Alstyne for Mrs. Pearl Etta Stinnett, 63, who died
at her home here Saturday. Welby Jackson will officiate and burial
will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery under the direction Grayson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stinnett was born in Collin County Sept. 25, 1908, the daughter
of Joe and Hannah Vester. She attended school in Weston and in 1924
was married to James Rhyne. She was later married to Cleo Stinnett
of Van Alstyne.
Survivors include her husband of Van Alstyne; one son, Earl J. Rhyne
of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Euna Belle Geeter of Louisville, Ky.; one
brother, Willie Vester of Van Alstyne; and seven grandchildren.
