Spencer Thompson
Van Alstyne - Services for Spencer T. Thompson, 45-year-old Van Alstyne resident who died Sunday at his residence, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Eastside Church of Christ in Van Alstyne.
Arrangements are by Flesher Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born in Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer L Thompson.
He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ, attended schools in Van Alstyne and Sherman, served nine years in the U.S. Army, with service in Vietnam.
Surviving are his mother, Pearlie Thompson; sisters, Diane Mayfield of Van Alstyne, Beverly Cox of Washington, D.C., and Ermon Softley of Dallas.
The family will be at the Pearlie Thompson residence in Van Alstyne.
