VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Oris Green Selby Sr., 88, retired farmer who died Sunday at a Van Alstyne nursming home, will be held at 2 p.m. Tusday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapal, conducted by Rev. Davd Martin and Rev. Jim Gregory. Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Selby was born in Texas, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Selby. He was a member of the Gunter Baptist Church. He married Mary M. Shields August 31, 1924 in Van Alstyne.
Surviving are: wife; daughters, Mrs. Helen Tipton of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Miss Mary L. Selby of Fort Worth; sons, L. Selby of Fort Worth, Eugene Selby of Sherman, O. G. Selby Jr. of Fort Worth; fived grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Elzona Maxey of Atoka, Okla., Mrs. Cora Medcalf of Sherman, Mrs. Nell Scoggins of Sherman.
The family will be at the funeral home Monay from 7 to 8 p.m.
