Dell Morse Mason, 82, of Dallas, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, in a Dallas hospital.  He was born Nov. 1, 1892 in Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Mason.  He was a veteran of WWI, a long-time employee of Abbott Laboratories, and a member of the Dallas First United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the board for 34 years.  He was married Dec. 2, 1920 in Van Alstyne to the former Ode Stinnett, who survives.  He is also survived by a brother, Harrell C. Mason of Dallas.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, in Dickerson Chapel of First United Methodist Church, Dallas, with interment in Van Alstyne Cemetery, Flesher Funeral Home in charge.
