Erhardt Fredrick Hermeling, 88, of Van Alstyne died Saturday, July 20, 1996 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. John Wade officiated. Surviving are his son, David Hermeling of Van Alstyne and sister, Mabel Ditmeyer of Bridgeton, Mo.
