Services for Maggie Bett Stinnett, 91, who died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1977, were held last Wednesday.  She died at a Van Alstyne nursing home.
Services were held at the East Side Church of Christ and were conducted by Melvin Chappell.  Burial was at the Van Alstyne cemetery.
Mrs. Stinnett was born in Collin County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon P. Stinnett.  She was a member of the church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Lucindy Savage of Van Alstyne; one son, Fred Hickson of Van Alstyne; one sister, Louella Johnson of Van Alstyne; one brother, Alvin Stinnett of Van Alstyne; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
