Milam Garland's Rites Set Friday

Greenville, Texas, June 16 - Funeral services for
John Milam Garland, 65, Quinlan farmer who died in a hospital here Tuesday,
will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the James-Coker-Peters Funeral Chapel
in Greenville. Burial will take place at Van Alstyne.
Garland who was born and reared at Pilot Grove, Grayson
County, had lived in Dallas before moving to Quinlan five years ago.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Home L. Garland
of Dallas; Ben M. Garland of San Diego, Calif.; and Billy Garland of Miller
Grove, Hopkins County; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Ward of dallas and Judy
Joan Garland of Quinlan; mother, Mrs. W.H. Garland of Van Alstyne; two
sisters, Mrs. Ludia Bruce of Dallas and Mrs. Alice Arrington of Van Alstyne;
and two brothers, S.L. Garland and Alvie H. Garland, both of Dallas.
