VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Mrs. Delia Stewart. 83. who died Tuesday at a Sherman hospital, will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ in Van Alstyne, conducted by Grady Langford and Douglas Bickenbach. Burial will be at the Van Alstyne Cemetery, Flesher Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Texas, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob West. She was a member of the Van Alstyne Church of Christ.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Jewel Vineyard of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Nina Sweeney of Fort Worth; son Eugene Stewart of Plano; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur West of Van Alstyne and Jake West of Glen Rose, Tex.; sisters, Mrs. Elsie McFall of Glen Rose.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 Wednesday.
