Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Mattie D. Adams, 90, who
died Monday morning in a Van Alstyne nursing home, will be held Wednesday
at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Burial will
be in the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Mississippi, Aug. 20, 1878, the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William Boles. She was a member of the Van Alstyne
Baptist Church.
Survivors are one son, Roy Adams of Van Alstyne, four grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.
The family will be at the Flesher Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday.

Stephen B. Adams (male, white, married) passed away on January
4, 1943 in Van Alstyne, Tex. Route #1. His occupation is listed as farmer.
Stephen B. Adams was born December 19, 1875 in Missouri. His parents were
William Franklin Adams and Pauline Ware. The informant was Ray Adams.
Cause of death was due to Cerebral Hemorrhage. Burial was in Van Alstyne
on January 5, 1943.
