Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Margaret Alline Taylor of
Van Alstyne, who died Saturday in a nursing home here, will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday in the Flesher Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Don Griffith
of First Christian Church and the Rev. Ron Page of First Methodist Church
will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
A Van Alstyne native, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Simpson T. Evans; was a member of First Christian Church and was married
in 1910 at Van Alstyne to Creed Taylor.
Survivros include daughters, Mrs. Nelda Pattie of Fort Worth, Mrs.
Ruth Lee Cason of van Alstyne and Mrs. Marjorie Creed DeFord of Garland;
sons, Surce John Taylor of Garland and Leslie Armour Taylor of New York
City; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Gladys
Douglas of Grand Prairie.
Pallbearers are John K. and Robert Hynds, Mac Selby, Dr. James R.
Greening, Clyde Maples and Floyd Carter.

TEXAS DEATH CERTIFICATE

Noel Creed Taylor (male, white, married) was born December 20, 1891
in Weston, Texas, the son of Surce Taylor & Lottie Hatfield.
He was a retired landowner, living at 101 Taylor St., Van Alstyne, Grayson
County, Texas. Creed died March 13, 1965, age 73, at Clarkson Government
Lake, four miles northeast of Anna, Collin County, Texas around 6 p.m.
The informant was Mrs. Alline Taylor; the cause of his death was accidental
drowning when he lost his footing and fell into the lake. His body
was brought to Flesher Funeral Home and buried in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
