Services for Glen P. Carpenter, 58, of Van Alstyne, were held April 20 in Van Alstyne Cemetery. He died April 18 at his home.
Mr. Carpenter was born in Oklahoma, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carpenter, and married Helen Johnson on Apr8il 7, 1952 in Fort Worth. He was a retired foreman for Victor Equipment Co. in Denton, and was a Methodist.
Surviving are his wife; son, Dale Carpenter of Dallas; brother, Clyde Carpenter of Abilene and sister, Velma G. Swanson of Portland, Ore.

Barry Dale Carpenter, 35, of Dallas, died Thursday, June 13, 1996 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Sherman. Services were held Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. Ralph Gonzales and Cecil Threadgill officiated. Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Surviving is his mother, Helen Carpenter, of Van Alstyne
