Van Alstyne - Dimple Joyce Gentry, 72, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 in Meadowbrook Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel, Van Alstyne with the Rev. Jim Poole officiating.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Gentry was born December 2, 1932 in McKinney, TX the daughter of Claude and Ivy Dobbins.  She married Albert Frank Gentry on January 2, 1948 in Gunter.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Frank Gentry of Van Alstyne; three sons, Danny Gentry and wife, Sharon; Kenneth Gentry and wife, Sally, all of Van Alstyne; Michael Gentry of Harmony; daughters, Sharron Ingram and husband, Mike of Van Alstyne; Diana Kost and husband, Andy of cartwright, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Adam Gentry of Van Alstyne, Shanna Miller and husband, Donny of Tom Bean, Kevin Armstrong of Van Alstyne, Sean Armstrong of Denver, CO, Bodie and Danton Gentry of Harmony; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Cody Miller of Tom Bean; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Claudine Latham and Dorothy Deford, and one brother, Clifton S. Dobbins.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
