VAN ALSTYNE - Glen Bailey, 65, of Van Alstyne passed away at his home with his family by his side on Monday, May 3, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 2915 W. Spur 503 in Denison.
Glen is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nell Bailey; children, Glenna Davidson, Louella and Bryce Compton, Alex (Bubie) and add-on daughter, Debbie Bailey, Andy and Becky Bailey. Also surviving are his grandkids, Brandi and Nick Mitchell, Alesha Davidson, Jeremy and Jenna Powell and Kris McDonald, Nick and Angel Bailey and Tiffany Bailey; and great-grandkids, Aliyah Mitchell, Aden Bailey and Logan Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Miller, Billy Hessell, Ron Hessell, Joe Smith and Brenton Miller. - - - - - The Herald Democrat on May 6, 2010
