Harlee McKinney
Van Alstyne - Services for Harlee McKinney of Van Alstyne, 56-year-old
retired Texas Instruments employee who died Tuesday at his residence, will
be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Eastside Church of Christ.
Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Arrangements are under
the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. McKinney was born in Van Alstyne, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude
McKinney, and married Marion Lock in 1977 in Durant, Okla. He was
a member of the Church of Christ and had served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Byron McKinney of Garland and Curtis
Corbray of Van Alstyne; daughter, Cheryl McKinney of Van Alstyne; parents,
of Van Alstyne; and two grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and
other times at the residence, 710 McKinney Circle.

VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Homer McKinney Jr., of Van Alstyne, 56-year-old
retired nurse's aid at Big Spring VA Hospital who died Friday at his residence
will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in East Side Church of Christ, with Joe C.
Simon officiating.
Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery under the direction of Smith
Memorial Chapel of Denison.
Mr. McKinney was born in Grayson County, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Homer McKinney. He was a member of the East Side Church of Christ
and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his brother, Ed McKinney of Van Alstyne; and sister,
Mary Tate of Van Alstyne.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family will be at the residence in Van Alstyne.

JAMES McKINNEY
VAN ALSTYNE - Services for James E. McKinney, 56-year-old sales associate
at Levitz Furniture in Dallas, were held Saturday in Eastside Church of
Christ. He died Wednesday in Van Alstyne.
Marshall E. Hodge officiated, and burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Smith Memorial Chapel.
Mr. McKinney was born in Van Alstyne, the son of E.D. and Alberta
McKinney, and married Beverly Arnold in 1979 in Dallas.
He was an army veteran, and a member of Alders Gate United Methodist
Church in Dallas.
Surviving are his wife, of Dallas; sons, James E. McKinney Jr.,
Edward McKinney and James E. Brett, all of Dallas; daughters, Charlotte
Tomkins of Dallas and Helen Oby of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
