Van Alstyne - Imogene Vester, age 95, of Van Alstyne died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Carrie White Chapel at Angelic Mortuary in Sherman with Freddie Watkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Zell Lilly of Plano; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Angelic from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. Friday. Public visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

Van Alstyne - Willie James Vester, 88, of Van Alstyne died Oct. 29 at Whitewright Nursing Home.  Services were held Nov. 1 in East Side Church of Christ in Van Alstyne with Melvin Chappell officiating.  Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Golden Gate Funeral Directors in Dallas.
Mr. Vester was born in Weston.  On Nov. 21, 1931, he married Imogene McCollums.
He was a member of East Side Church of Christ in Van Alstyne.
Surviving are his wife; son, Robert Vester of New Rochelle, N.Y.; daughter, Zella Lilly of Plano; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers were family friends.
