Mom was born to Alexander H. Vick and Ruthie (Harmon) Vick on 8, July 1923 in Platter, 
Bryan County, Oklahoma.  She was the 3rd child of nine children.  The family lived in Oklahoma and the Sherman area most of their lives. (View Vick Family)
On the 29, July 1945 she married Roby Clarence Magers (my Dad) in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.  They would have 3 children.  Most of my childhood we were raised and went to school in Duncanville, Dallas County, Texas.  My parents later divorced (December 14, 1971) I believe.
Mom later married Norman Rufus McDonald on 1 November 1976 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.  They lived in Jefferson, Harrison County, Texas until her death at her home on 21 July 2008.  She had just turned 85 years old 13 days earlier.
Mom always said she would like to be buried beside her Daddy if possible and I'm so glad that was made possible.
She was buried in the Cedarlawn Cemetery between  Sherman & Denison,Texas.
