William M. "Wid" Baker

Wid came to the area around Denison in 1874 from Madison Co., AR with wife Ann (nee Banks) and children Thomas C. and John C.  Another child, Bert b. @1876 in Grayson Co. evidently died young.   Sadie, Chloe, and George Patrick "Pat" were all born in Texas.  Sometime between 1884 and 1888 the family returned to Arkansas due to Ann's failing health.  She and an infant died there in Arkansas and are buried there near Hindsville.  Within a year, William married Melissa Boren and returned to Grayson County.  He and Melissa had Lucy Pearl and Earl while living in Denison.  Melissa died 1 August 1899 and  William remained unmarried, raising the children alone.

George Patrick "Pat" Baker
b. 12 Apr 1878 Denison, Grayson Co., TX
d. 25 Apr 1978 Grayson Co., TX

Pat was the youngest surviving child of William Baker and Ann Banks.  He married Kitty Jenkins who died in 1953, then married Frances Bock.  There were no children from either marriage.

Troy Baker
Troy was the son of John Calvin Baker and Mollie Morehead, and grandson of William Baker/Ann Banks.
