BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES
Cannady, Raymond C. was born in Tennessee in 1895, and moved to Texas with his parents when only five years old.  His parents settled near what is known as Tioga, and here he remained for about five years.  They then moved to Royce City and spent the next thirteen or fourteen years in this community.  He then moved to Collinsville, and has lived here since that time.  For some time Mr. Cannady devoted his attention to the management of a restaurant here but during the past eleven years has been engaged in the barbering business.  He was married in 1917 to Miss Marie Walthall and is the father of two sons, James Edward and R.C. Jr. (died 1960)
