 BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES
Cobler, Bernard, local meat merchant, has been connected with that business here for the past six or eight years.  He is the son of Bill and Vivik Cobler, old settlers of Collinsville.  Bernard Cobler was born at Tioga, March 4, 1908.  He married Miss Flossie Reed of the Ethel community in 1928 and is the father of two children. (d. San Angelo, Texas)

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES
Cobler, Joe B., former banker of Collinsville for 20 years, was born and reared in this community.  His parents were C. "Lum" and Mollie Cobler.  Mr. Cobler attended the local school and later attended the Trinity University at Waxahachie, in 1908-09 and T.C.U. in Forth Worth, in 1910.  Mr. Cobler married Mss Mary Harbison in 1913, and is the father of four children, all of whom live here.  They are: Joseph Lee; Mary Helen; Louise and Joyce Cobler.  Mr. Cobler is former mayor of Collinsville, having served in that capacity in 1927-28.  He is also a 32nd Degree Mason, and takes an active part in the civic activities of Collinsville.  (Other children of C.C.Cobler family were: Bertha, wife of Lee G. Graham; Guy, married to Lydia Mitchell; and Miss Anna Cobler.)
