Raymond Jack Daniel

The family left Wilbarger County January 1, 1920 to settle close to Davidson in order to farm.  They stayed for two years.  Just a few weeks before the family left Oklahoma to return to Texas, Jack was born  on November 25, 1921.  The family loaded up their covered wagon and left Oklahoma in January 1922 to return to Wilbarger County, Texas.

At the age of 20, Jack married Margie on September 26, 1942.  Jack was stationed in Germany during World War II.

Jack Daniel is 2nd from the left in the top picture and on the left in the photo above.
Camp Callan was a US Army anti-aircraft arterillary replacement training center,
located in La Jolla, California, during World War II.

After his tour of military duty, Jack served as a policeman in Vernon and Electra.

After nineteen years of marriage, Jack and Margie were divorced in 1941.  Jack then married Beatrice L. James.

Jack died March 30, 1995 at Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas; he was the second of the Daniel children to die, just two years after his older sister Ethel Louise.
