Life in Burning Residence

Whitewright, Texas,
Nov. 27- J.A. Bryant, 45 wealthy stockman, lost his life in a fire that
destroyed the two-story home of T.E. Sears Thursday. He was spending the
night with Mr. Sears, the two being the only occupants of the premises.
Mr. Sears escaped, but was unable to aid his guest, who was sleeping in
an adjoing room on the ground floor.
Mr. Bryant was the son
of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Bryant of this city. Surviving him also are three
brothers, Marvin Bryant of Madill and Charley and G.F. Bryant of Whitewright,
and a sister, Mrs. Floyd Everheart of Sherman."
