Joyce Funeral 
Speical to the News, Tom Bean, Tex., March 14-
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Cedar Church for J.H. Joyce. 77, retired Grayson County farmer, who died Friday at his home. Burial was in the Cedar Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. E.B. Simpson and Mrs. W.C. Lewis, both of Dallas, and Mrs. John Avergean of Pennsylvania; one stepson, J.W. James of Dallas; three brothers; one sister and nine grandchildren.

Death Cert. info: He lived and died in Tom Bean, his name is James H. Joyce, 19 Dec 1879-13 Mar 1953. He was married and a farmer, born in N.C., son of Nick Joyce b. in NC, mother not noted.
Informant was E.B. Simpson.
He died of apoplexy and had had a stroke 18 months before his death.
