FM 121 turn S onto Wolf Front Dr. The cemetery is located about 1/2
mile from the intersection. It is off the road on the east side.
To get to the cemetery, look for large field with a long row of trees.
In the grove of trees, a chain link fence and the top of one headstone
can be see.

James P. Dumas came to Texas in 1845.
as a. surveyor. His services were much in demand and he became county surveyor
of Grayson County, Texas. His services were paid for in land and he became
richest man in county. Mr Dumas daughter Miss Texana Dumas born 1846 believed
herself to be first white child born in Grayson County, Texas. (she
was mistaken, it was Lucinda Jane Atchison born in Aug. of 1845, first
child in what was to become Grayson Co., it was part of Fannin Co. was
Mary E. Rice Kemble in 1836)
Miss Dumas married Reese M. Cannon
in 1861. Cannon Texas was named for her husband who settled there in 1852.

I understand the Dumas slave cemetery
was part of this one, likely on the outside of the present fence. Size
unknown and markers unknown, supposed to have been mostly marked with native
rock and wood.
I found a death cert. for this man
and suppose he was buried there due to family ties:
