Powers - Denison, Tx. Oct 15; - Mrs. Elizabeth Powers , aged 74 years, died at her home near Pottsboro Monday night. The body was interred in the Holder Burying ground Tuesday afternoon. She came to Texas in a wagon forty years ago from Illinois and settled on Duck Creek, north of Denison where she lived for ten years. From there she moved to Pottsboro. Her husband died a number of years ago. She leaves two grandsons, who live near Pottsboro, besides a number of relatives in Denison and Oklahoma.
