Skaggs Family Cemetery

This cemetery was on the land owned by James and Catherine Skaggs and they are buried there. There were previous burials marked only with wooden markers when they purchased the land in 1859. Later burials by this family are buried in Kentuckytown and Vittitoe Cemeteries nearby.

His wife: Catherine Young Skaggs 5 May 1816- 23 Nov 1877 d. of typhoid Fever., Wife of James Skaggs.  Dau. of Ezekiel & Rebecca McFarland Young Jr.

Nancy Jane Jarboe Marshall  25 Mar 1831 - 1865  Wife of Robert Milton Marshall. Dau. of John A. & Elmina C. Kirtley Jarboe. (Her Foostone Photograph)
