Denison - Services for Lemley A. Coffin, 70, retired Denison cotton mill superintendent and machinist who died Tuesday at his home, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Eugene Hoover of Calvary Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
A West native, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George A. Coffin, and married Addie Bates on Aug. 15, 1970, in Denison. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; sons, J.D. Coffin of Denton and Wilburn Coffin of Denison; daughter, Mrs. Doyle B. Seale of Pasadena; brothers, Henry Coffin of Denison, Calvin Coffin of Hurst, Allen Coffin of Fort Worth and Harvey Lee Coffin of Tyler; sisters, Mrs. Jim Holt and Mrs. Nellie DeJaun, both of Whitewater, Calif., Mrs. Arthur Jackson of Westminster, Calif., and Mrs. Mirtie Robertson of Denison; seven grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Richard Gregg, Milton Taul, Ray Bellows, Lucious Hord, Cleo Beckham and Richard Neasbitt.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
