At this time I do not see a link between this family and another Coffin Family who are buried in area cemeteries.

TXGenWeb master ~ Arthur Henry Coffin was born 23 Oct 1851, James Town, Guilford Co., Nc. - died 31 Oct 1934, Denison, Grayson Co., Tx. -son of Dr. Shubal Gardner Coffin (b. 29 May 1809, Guilford Co., Nc) and mother  - Laura Lowry Mendenhall (b. 15 Nov 1836, Guilford Co., Nc.) They moved to Indiana.

Arthur Henry Coffin's wife ~  Anna Mary Richie Coffin, born 2 Jul 1852, Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania- died Denison, Grayson Co., Texas, 8 Aug 1916.  Daughter of Samuel Steer Richie  (b.8 May 1814, Short Creek, Harrison Co., Ohio (They were Quakers) died 18 Nov 1888; and mother- Anna S. Shoemaker, b. 7 Jul 1814. Shoemakertown, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania.) Her obituary at bottom of page.

Arthur & Anna Mary were married 9 Mar 1876 in New Paris, Preble Co., Oh. - Quaker Church

Their Children: Anna Laura Coffin b. Denison ~ 4 Mar 1877~became Mrs. Marr of N.C.
Elizabeth White Coffin b. Denison ~ 13 Jan 1880 - became Mrs.John W. Lewis of Greensboro, NC
Margaret Barger Coffin b. Denison~27 Dec 1881~became Mrs. George H. Capen of CA.
Mable Francis Coffin b. Denison 5 Nov 1883 died 18 Dec 1883
and an adopted son - S. B. Coffin of N.C.

Dallas Morning News -page 11 10 Aug 1916-
Coffin.-Denison, Texas, Aug. 9- Mrs. Anna Mary Coffin, aged 64 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock at the family residence. No. 516 West Gandy street, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Coffin was the wife of A. H. Coffin, City Tax Collector, and had been a resident of Denison the last thirty years. The funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of relatives from out of the city. Besides a husband the deceased is survived by the following daughters; Mrs. Laura C. Marr of Pinehurst, N.C.; Mrs. John W. Lewis of Greensboro, N.C.; Mrs. George H. Capen of Los Angeles, Cal., and an adopted son, S. B. Coffin of High Point, N.C.; two sisters, Miss Sarah M. Ritchie and Miss Grace Ritchie of Denison; two brothers, John S. Richie of Scotts Mills, Ore., and S. C. Richie of New Paris, Ohio.  * She is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Denison as is her husband. 
Her death cert. says she lived at 516 W. Gandy in Denison. Her father was Samuel S. Richie b. in Eastern Ohio. Mother Anna S. Shoemaker was born in Montgomery Co. Penn. 
Anna Mary Coffin died of Cancer affecting middle left ear and surrounding tissue and exhaustion.

An Article in the Dallas Morning News 5 Sep 1886 - North Texas Horticultural Society meeting news - Awards -"Best display of flowers in a bouquet, Mrs. A. H. Coffin"  

* Death Cert. no 449(0?)3 Arthur H. Coffin. Died at the Long- Sneed Hospital in Denison. 521 W. Woodlawn.  His wife is listed as Mrs. Nannie Coffin. dates match other info. He died of myocardial failure. The person making out the cert. put his and his wifes info in the parents place. It says he was a Civil Engineer and later, City Tax Assessor and collector.
