COLLINSVILLE, Texas, Mary 28, --- Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Miller of this place celebrated their golden wedding anniversary May 21.  Mr. Miller has been a resident of Grayson County for more than seventy-five years.  He was in business in the old town of Collinsville, then called Springfield, before the Texas and Pacific Railroad came through.  At that time all supplies were hauled by oxen from Jefferson.  Mr. Miller was the first city marshal of Collinsville and in his early days was famous as a revolver shot.

Mr. Miller has been a subscriber to The Dallas News for more than fifty years and has distributed The News from his store for the last twenty-eight years.  He remembers Dallas when its business section consisted of two stores and six saloons.  He shot buffaloes near Dallas sixty years ago.

About 100 relatives and friends attended the anniversary celebration.  In the photograph are seen,
