Widow's 7 Year Old Son Drown in Tank.

Denton, June 23, Seven year old Harmon
Lee Harris drowned Thursday afternoon in a stock tank on the farm
of an uncle , six miles north of here. He was the son of Mrs. Ivan Harris,
Denison, She and her eight children were here at the bedside of her father,
who is critically il. Her husband died about a month ago.
Several children were swimming in the
tank when the others noticed Harmon Lee was missing. They called the uncle,
Herman Trielsch, and other adults. The body was recovered about 45 minutes
later.
Justice of the Peace, Z. D. Lewis returned
a verdict of accidental drowning. Funeral plans were incomplete.

Denton Man, Kin Die 7 Hours Apart
H.C. Belcher, 66, died at his home
here seven hours after his grandson drowned in a stock tank.
The child, Harmon
Lee Harris, 7, of Denison, drowned Thursday on the farm of an uncle,
Herman Trietsch, six miles north of here. He had come to Denton with his
mother to be at the bedside of Belcher, who had been critically ill following
a stroke.
The boy's father died three months
ago.
The body of the boy was returned to
Denison for funeral services. He is survived by seven brothers and a sister.
Belcher, a retired farmer, lived in
Denton County forty-eight years. Survivors include his wife, five sons,
five daughters, a sister, two brothers and twenty-four grandchildren.

Lucy Ann Harris
Tom Bean, Texas -Funeral Services for
Lucy Ann Harris, 75 of Tom Bean, Grayson County,
who had lived in Tom Bean since 1911, will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in Tom
Bean First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in
White Mound Cemetery, near Tom Bean.
She died Sunday in a Sherman Hospital.
A practical nurse until her retirement,
she was a member of Tom Bean First United Methodist Church.
