The descendants of George Hart are having a reunion in Paris, Tennessee in September 
the current date is the 22 nd (2007). We are attempting to locate the descendants on the above family and as you can see they are living in Grayson County in the early 1900's.
George Hudspeth married a second time but at this point in time we are trying to find the Catherine Hart connection.

George Hart (1795 Union County South Carolina ? 1861 Henry County Tennessee) married Catherine Johnson (10/19/1801 Rockingham County North Carolina ? 3/31/1882 Henry County Tennessee) on 6/30/1816 in Barren County Kentucky at the Mount Pigsah Meeting House by the Rev. William Warren. The bondsman for the marriage was William Johnson.

Sarah Susan Kirkland had married William Crissenberry, brother to Caroline Crissenberry on 10/7/1858 in Henry County Tennessee.

Elizabeth Hart (11/30/1834 Breckinridge County Kentucky ? 10/6/1903) married Anderson Bartlett Sturdivant Sr. (6/26/1830 Montgomery County Tennessee ? 5/31/1878 Henry County Tennessee) on 10/12/1854 in Henry County Tennessee and E. E. Council (3/18/1834 -9/18/1895) on 10/2/1879 in Henry County Tennessee.

8.) George W. Hart (1837 Henry County Tennessee ? (3/27/1864 Camp Douglas Illinois). He was a 1 St Lieutenant in Company B of the 5 Th Tennessee Infantry Regiment. He was captured at Island No. 10 transferred to Johnson?s Island on May 2, 1862. He was sent to Vicksburg Mississippi for exchange on 9/1/1862. He was then captured on 5/8/1893 at Well?s Creek in Dickson County Tennessee. He was sent to Johnson?s Island where he died of pneumonia on 3/24/1864.

11.) James L. Hart (1842 Henry County Tennessee - ??) married Drucilla Ballard (1843 - ??) on 10/22/1863 in Henry County Tennessee.

Her obituary reads: ?She was the mother of fourteen children twelve of whom lived to be grown and nine of whom are now living.?  The two who died before her are George W. Hart and Catherine Hart Hudspeth. The two who died as children or infants could be Sarah/Susan Hart (1835 ? 5/1842) and unknown male. The 1840 census has 4 males and 6 females with this final group it shows 4 males and 5 females. All the above males were born prior to 1840 except James Lewis, which makes him the final 5, and 2 females were born in or after 1840.
